By downloading, installing, accessing, or using The Wall Street Journal News App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Service
The Wall Street Journal News App is a mobile application that provides access to news articles, financial information, market data, and related content ("Content") published by Dow Jones & Company, Inc. and its affiliates ("we," "us," or "our").

3. User Accounts

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, are owned by Dow Jones & Company, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Content
- Use the Content for commercial purposes without our written permission
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use automated systems to access the App without our permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any Content.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dow Jones & Company, Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App and canceling any active subscriptions.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
